TGCET 2019: Notification, Forms released for Telangana Gurukul CET

Telangana Gurukul CET 2019: Telangana State Residential Schools / Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test which is also known as TGCET 2019. TGCET Notification 2019 and Examination details will be announced soon by Telangana Residential Educational Institution Society (TREIS), Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Government. Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into 5th class (English Medium) in TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS 21st Century Schools, Telangana Residential schools (507) for the academic year 2019-2020. Eligible and Interested candidates may be submitted their applications through online mode at the official website.

TGCET 2019

The students who are interested can fill the application form online from the official website. But, before filling the application form the students must check the eligibility criteria, whether they are eligible or not. The candidates will be allowed to participate in the Common Entrance Test if the fill the application form on time. Common Entrance Test will consist of English, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Telugu.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

During the year 2019-2020 candidates must be studying class 4 in a Government School or in a school recognized by Government of Telangana.

Age Limit:

  • OC / BC candidates should have born between 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2010 (9-11 years).
  • SC / ST candidates should have born between 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2010 (9-13 years only)

Annual Income Limit:

  • Parents / Guardian income should not exceed Rs 1,50,000/- per annum.
  • Rural areas and Rs 2,00,000/-per annum in urban areas (Except for children of the Ex-Serviceman).

Telangana Gurukul CET Application Form

The very first step a candidate has to do is to fill the application form online to take admission in class 5 for the academic year 2019-20. The form is available for everyone at the official website. The candidates must check the eligibility before filling the application form. Candidate must fill the application form before its last date.

Application Form Fee: The candidates have to pay application fee Rs. 50/- online. This is applicable for the candidates of all the categories.

Telangana Gurukul CET Exam Pattern

The candidates are advised to know the exam pattern before they appear in the examination so that they can have an idea of the paper. The question paper will consist of four parts i.e. English, Mathematics, Environmental Science and Telugu. All the questions will be MCQs. There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 mark. Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the exam.

Telangana Gurukul CET Admit Card

An admit card or hall ticket is the most important thing for the examination. Candidates have to carry it with themselves on the day of examination. If not, then the candidate will not be allowed to give the paper. Admit card for Common Entrance Test will be available on the official website. Admit card will be made available to the candidates before the commencement of the exam. Candidates who will fill the application form on time will only get the Admit Card. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their application form number.

Telangana Gurukul CET Result

 The result for Telangana Gurukul University CET 2019 will be issued by TG Gurukul CET organisation authority. The entrance test has been conducted on March 2019. candidates can check the result of TGCET 2019 by visiting the official website.

Steps to download the TGCET 2019 Result:

  • Go to the official website
  • Search for the Result
  • Enter the hall ticket and date of birth and click on the Result button
  • The result will be shown on the screen
  • Check it and print them for counselling

Selection Process

The selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Telangana CET. The candidates who clear the cut off criteria will be in the merit list. The candidates who will have their name in the merit list will be selected for the counselling round.
